You know what? Writing about yourself is awkward and writing something decent about yourself, while staying away from being an arrogant asshole, is not a trivial thing to do. People who can do this got their well-deserved Nobel Prizes in literature already.

For quite some time I’ve been sitting here and there, staring at walls and people passing by, waiting in vain for the inspiration and hoping that at some point I will manage to write a suitable chunk of text. I'm giving it up for now - sometimes you just have to let it go, be grateful, lie low and wait. In the end it's all about pictures in here, so let them speak for themselves and I'll be very short - my name is Yuri, besides lots of other things (including a big deal of procrastination) I'm doing a bit of photography and that is why this site. I was born in Russia, though calling Amsterdam my home now.
